At Pierre GMC of Everett, we specialize in servicing and repairing all GM vehicles. We are committed to high-quality workmanship, advanced diagnostics, and exceptional customer service. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated GM Diesel / Heavy Duty Technician to join our growing team.

 

Position Summary

The GM Diesel / Heavy Duty Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining GM vehicles. The ideal candidate is experienced, efficient, and confident handling complex diesel / HD diagnostics and repairs.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair transmissions, engines, fuel systems, electrical systems, and emissions systems
  • Perform engine performance diagnostics using GM scan tools
  • Complete major transmission & engine repairs, including turbos, fuel systems, EGR systems, and head gaskets
  • Perform routine maintenance and inspections
  • Complete warranty repairs to GM standards
  • Accurately document diagnostic procedures and repairs
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers when needed

 

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of heavy-duty repair experience (GM experience preferred)
  • GM factory training and/or certifications highly preferred
  • Strong diagnostic and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with GM diagnostic equipment
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Strong work ethic and team-oriented mindset

  • Paid Time Off: accrual starting in accordance with state and local law (1 hour for every 40 hours worked for full-time employees working outside of Seattle city limits; and 1 hour for every 30 hours worked for full-time employees working inside Seattle city limits) with accrual increases based on years of continuous service
