Independence Rehab is hiring a Full-Time Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team at Bethany at Silver Lake located in Everett, WA.

Training + Onboarding

We don't believe in the "sink or swim" approach.

New clinicians receive:

  • Strong integration and onboarding
  • 1:1 training for documentation and treatments
  • Customized clinical training based on your experience
  • Ongoing mentorship and competency support when needed

What You'll Do:

  • As the COTA, you'll treat a geriatric population in a SNF setting, including:
  • Functional ADL retraining and adaptive strategies
  • Transfer training (all levels)
  • Fall prevention and safety training
  • Treatment of clinically complex patients
  • Collaboration with the OT for care planning
  • Collaboration with nursing, PT, ST, and facility staff

Requirements:

  • Current Washington COTA license in good standing
  • Degree from an accredited OTA program
  • Organized, self-starter who enjoys the geriatric population
  • SNF experience preferred - but not required.
