What You'll Be Doing

As the Director of Rehab, you will oversee the daily operations and performance of the therapy department while serving as a clinical leader and resource for your team.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and supporting a team of PT, OT, and SLP clinicians (FT, PT, PRN)
• Managing day-to-day therapy operations, scheduling, and staffing
• Building strong relationships with facility leadership and interdisciplinary teams
• Participating in facility management and care coordination meetings
• Supporting recruiting, interviewing, and onboarding of therapy staff
• Managing department performance, including productivity and financial outcomes
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory, documentation, and billing requirements (PDPM)
• Training and mentoring team members on clinical and operational best practices
• Serving as a point of contact for patients and families when needed
• Maintaining a clinical caseload (approximately 50% productivity, adjusted based on facility needs)

What We're Looking For

• Current Washington State PTA or COTA license in good standing
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a skilled nursing facility
• Prior DOR or leadership experience preferred, but not required
• Strong understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, and PDPM reimbursement
• Organized, detail-oriented, and accountable
• Confident communicator with the ability to lead and motivate a team
• Passion for working with the geriatric population
