Does This Sound Like You?
- You've spent at least 6 months handling and caring for dogs at least once per week through a job, shelter, rescue, or other volunteer role—but you haven't yet learned to independently manage an off-leash daycare group.
- You're looking for a place where you can build those skills and work your way toward becoming a Dog Daycare Wrangler.
That's where we come in. You already know the basics. Now we'll teach you what happens when the leashes come off.
Pay & Schedule
Training Wage: $18–$19/hour
Once you're approved to independently manage playgroups of 10+ dogs, you'll become eligible for per-dog bonuses on top of your hourly wage. As your skills and responsibilities grow, so can your earnings.
Minimum Qualifications
To be considered, you must meet all of the following requirements:
- Have at least 6 months of paid or volunteer hands-on dog experience, with dog handling/care responsibilities performed at least once per week
- Have experience handling and caring for dogs belonging to clients, customers, an employer, shelter, rescue, or other organization — personal pets and dogs belonging to friends or family do not count
- Be available Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:30 PM
- Be able to stand and walk for 6–8 hours, lift up to 50 pounds, and confidently handle dogs up to 200 pounds.
- Live within 30 minutes of our facility and consistently arrive on time
- Be able to pass a federal background check
