We are currently seeking a Machine Operator, Level 2, to work 5:30a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This position works in Manufacturing and operates pressure test, deburr machinery and measurement systems, and fitting installation in end-prep and swage areas. In this position it is expected the employee works independently without supervision required. Training and guidance will still be offered and available when needed to learn more about a task, or to learn a new task.

Preference will be given to candidates with blueprint/drawing reading aptitude
Preference will be given to candidates with experience using precision measurement tools such as calipers and micrometers
Successful candidates will be required to pass background check
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties, responsibilities, and activities may change or be assigned at any time with or without notice.
Operate machines such as (but not limited to):
- Measure parts using Supravision VMM, ACCUREX, and Tubeshaper software.
- tube deburr and flaring machines,
- Pressure test machines,
- Fitting installation machines,
- Tube cutting band saws,
- Disk and circular grinders,
- Pneumatic hand tools
Locate and decipher customer and industry specifications within engineering documents.
Precisely perform tube manufacturing in accordance with customer and industry specifications.
Maintain clean and safe work environment.
Operate equipment in a safe manner.
Understand and be certified for the use and care of basic metrology, i.e. micrometers, etc...
Understand and read blueprints, i.e. part views, definitions and foot notes.
Understand and conform to relevant areas of the Quality Manual, Quality Procedures and Training.
Understand and input all relevant process and IPC data into Pro Shop/Part Level during part run.
Accurate and complete time tracking with achievement of expected “Time Against Work Order” targets.
Be attentive and prompt to load and unload production parts at beginning or end of single or flow cycle, as well as, keep up with off line support tasks, i.e. deburring, sawing, insert installations, etc...
Maintain awareness about cutting tool malfunctions and burr development. Report areas of concern to an Intermediate or Senior level operator.
Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management for the success of the department.

Sitting, standing, pushing, pulling, grasping, reaching, squat/kneeling, working above shoulders, and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
Work Environment:
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to a standard office environment and occasionally to a manufacturing environment. The noise level in the manufacturing environment has the potential to be 89.4 decibels, which requires OSHA approved ear protection. Frequently used PPE if in the manufacturing environment is: Ear protection, dust masks, respirators, gloves and safety glasses.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
This role currently has no direct reports or supervisory responsibilities.
Education and/or Experience:
3 to 10 years manufacturing work experience. The candidate should have a high school diploma or equivalent with experience in manufacturing and Aerospace preferred.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, the individual must have working knowledge of typing, Windows, Microsoft Office, and website/ERP system navigation.
