About the Role
Paul Davis Restoration is seeking an experienced Lead Mitigation Technician to lead crews, perform field inspections, develop customer and adjuster relationships, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and profitably.
This is a hands-on leadership role for an experienced restoration professional who can lead by example, train technicians, communicate effectively with customers and adjusters, and take ownership of job quality, sales conversion, and gross margin performance.
Required Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- 2+ years of mitigation/restoration industry experience
- Experience leading, training, or supervising field personnel
- Current IICRC certification in at least one of the following:Â
- WRT
- ASD
- FSRT
- Experience with water damage mitigation and structural drying
- Ability to communicate professionally with customers, adjusters, and referral partners
- Understanding of job profitability, production efficiency, and gross margin performance
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and work evenings/weekends when required
Preferred Qualifications
- AMRT certification
- TCST or biohazard experience
- Commercial loss experience
- Experience with DASH, MICA, PSA, or similar restoration software
What You'll Do
- Lead mitigation crews on residential and commercial projects
- Respond to water, fire, mold, and other emergency losses
- Meet with customers, adjusters, and property managers
- Assess losses and recommend mitigation solutions
- Support field sales efforts and help convert opportunities into booked work
- Identify additional mitigation needs and opportunities
- Ensure projects are completed on time, on budget, and achieve gross margin goals
- Monitor labor, equipment usage, and consumable costs
- Conduct quality control inspections and jobsite audits
- Train, coach, and develop technicians
- Maintain accurate documentation, photos, moisture readings, and job records
- Ensure vehicles, equipment, and inventory remain organized and deployment-ready
- Participate in daily team huddles and the on-call schedule
