Help Patients Regain Strength, Mobility, and Confidence

Independence Rehab is seeking a Full-Time Physical Therapist Assistant to join our therapy team at Bethany at Silver Lake in Everett.

In this role, you'll work closely with the Physical Therapist and interdisciplinary care team to help residents regain mobility and independence following illness, injury, or hospitalization. Many of the patients you'll work with are navigating major life transitions, and your work will play a key role in helping them return to safe, functional living.

What the Role Looks Like

As a PTA on our rehab team, you'll provide hands-on therapy to a medically complex geriatric population in a skilled nursing setting.

Daily responsibilities typically include:

• Carrying out treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
• Assisting patients with gait training, transfers, and mobility activities
• Leading therapeutic exercises focused on strength, balance, and endurance
• Supporting fall prevention and safety awareness training
• Tracking patient progress and documenting treatment sessions
• Communicating closely with the supervising PT regarding patient status
• Collaborating with OT, speech therapy, nursing, and facility staff
• Helping patients reach important recovery milestones such as safe transfers and walking
