Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a High School in Everett MA

Monday - Friday 3 PM - 10 PM

Starting Pay is $21.04 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training 

As a Security Officer in Everett, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting an educational location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor access points, and assist students, staff, and visitors with professionalism and care. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and school community members while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established school procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report suspicious conditions or policy concerns, and communicate observations to appropriate school personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain professional interactions with diverse members of the school community.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
