Allied Universal is Currently Hiring a Full Time Security Officer for a School in Everett MA

Monday - Friday 7 AM - 3 PM

Starting Pay is $21.04 Per Hour / Paid Orientation / Paid Training 

As a Security Officer in Everett, MA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Education, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at an educational location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and assist students, staff, and visitors with professionalism. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and school community members by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established school and Allied Universal protocols.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor activity, directing individuals to appropriate locations and reporting unusual or unauthorized activity.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident reports and communicate relevant observations to school representatives and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
