Description
BASIC FUNCTIONS
- Complies with federal, state and company material handling and shipping requirements. Ensures adherence to guidelines and processes set forth by management in coordinating all aspects of processing shipments for customers.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Use of ERP system to determine produced orders to ship based on readiness and acknowledged ship date.
- Effectively conduct load/order consolidation optimizing volume while minimizing spend.
- Generate pick slip, packing slip, bill of lading, VGM and commercial invoices as required for orders domestic or export orders.
- Verify product inventory during and after shipment for film and resale orders. Checks for accuracy and make changes as authorized by Management.
- Safely pull, stage, and load inventory to satisfy sales order requirements. This includes, bracing of product inside of transit equipment and perform crucial outbound inspection of product.
- Handle questions, problems, and maintain open communication with other departments throughout the shipping/delivery cycle, including tracking of shipments.
- Coordinate and communicate with other departments the readiness of late or rush orders.
- Verify received materials and products against purchase orders to ensure quality and conformity. Communicate discrepancy to responsible parties.
- Perform administrative duties in support of activities related to the shipping for the Marine Division, including processing ERP receipts and bar code labels.
- Coordinate and conduct year end Marine physical inventory count and reconciliations.
- Identify and report unsafe practices and or insufficiently packaged items to management for improvements.
- Physically secure, brace, repalletize, cut foam, board, strap and or shrink-wrap product.
- Effectively process daily Marine Division releases, including but not limited to boats, parts, catalogs and dealer books.
- Booking of pickups via third party logistics user interface
- Perform regular cycle counts and research discrepancies in inventory.
- Obtain shipping quotes for Sales Department.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of Marine Warehouse.
- Process all daily Federal Express shipments.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education/Training:
- Highschool diploma or equivalent
- Forklift Certified
Experience:
- 3+ years of warehouse, inventory management, logistics and compliance.
- Working knowledge and understanding of ERP/MRP systems, Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook and their use in a manufacturing environment.
- Forklift certification or equivalent experience (we can certify on-site!).
Skills/Aptitude:
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize and plan effectively
- Self-motivated and proactive
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly and repetitively lift 50 pounds using proper lifting techniques.
- Able to stand, climb, bend and walk for an extended amount of time and up to 8 hours.
- Able to work in an office and warehouse environment.

Pay: $23-25 Hourly Rate (DOE)
