Wipro Givon USA has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Tool Maker to join our team. This position supports production by manufacturing, repairing, modifying, and improving tooling, fixtures, workholding devices, and production components. Uses CNC machining as the primary manufacturing method whenever practical to improve quality, repeatability, and efficiency. Programs and operates 3-axis CNC machines with Fanuc or Haas controls directly at the machine. Uses manual machining for repair work, fitting, and secondary operations.

Abilities - Are you a good fit:

• Ten or more years of machining experience, including at least five years performing comparable CNC and manual toolmaking, tooling,         fixture, repair, and production-support duties.
• Demonstrated ability to program, set up, and operate 3-axis CNC machines with Fanuc or Haas controls directly at the machine.
• Strong manual machining skills for repair work, fitting, rework, and secondary operations.
• Experience designing or modifying workholding fixtures is highly desirable.
• Technical degree, apprenticeship, or trade school training in machining, toolmaking, or a related field is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, work instructions, drawings, blueprints, specifications, and procedure manuals.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, dependable attendance, reliability, and willingness to support changing production 
  priorities.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to troubleshoot problems and work effectively with minimal supervision.
• Ability to stand and walk throughout the facility for extended periods and to frequently use hands and fingers, reach, bend, stoop, kneel,
  and crouch while performing work.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move 10–20 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 40–50 pounds.
• The successful candidate must qualify as a U.S. Person as defined by applicable ITAR regulations.

Job Duties and Responsibilities - What will you do daily:
 
•  Manufactures, repairs, modifies, and improves tooling, fixtures, workholding devices, and production components to support production requirements.
•  Programs, sets up, and operates 3-axis CNC machines using Fanuc or Haas controls directly at the machine for tooling and fixture work.
•  Uses CNC machining as the preferred manufacturing method when practical to improve quality, repeatability, and efficiency.
•  Operates manual mills, lathes, grinders, and related equipment for repair work, fitting, rework, and secondary operations.
•  Reads and interprets engineering drawings, blueprints, sketches, work orders, specifications, and applicable procedures.
•  Selects appropriate cutting tools, workholding methods, speeds, feeds, and machining sequences for assigned work.
•  Uses precision measuring equipment to verify dimensions, tolerances, fit, and function of completed work.
•  Troubleshoots tooling and fixture issues and develops practical solutions that minimize production disruption.
•  Designs or modifies workholding fixtures and provides input on tooling improvements, manufacturability, and maintainability.
•  Coordinates with Manufacturing Engineering, NC Programming, Quality, and Manufacturing to resolve tooling and production issues.
•  Plans and prioritizes work in response to production needs, including urgent repair and support requests, while working with minimal
    supervision.
•  Maintains accurate records and supports compliance with safety requirements and the ISO 9001/AS9100 Quality Management System.
•  Performs other related duties as assigned.
