Position requirements are weekend rotation, call rotation, holiday rotation, and Monday-Friday shifts.
Summary:
In addition to performing cardiac echo procedures, the Lead Echocardiographer will provide clinical/technical oversight for Virtua cardiac echo techs.
Additional areas of responsibility will include: providing daily work schedules, completion of IAC (Intersocietal Accreditation Commission) application, coordination of monthly echo quality conferences, document echo QA data, assist in updating echo policies and protocols.
This position will be responsible to ensure clinical quality goals are met annually.
Position Responsibilities:
• 2D Echocardiogram procedures.
• Cardiovascular stress echocardiograms.
• Edit echocardiogram studies for interpretation.
• Administrative Lead Cardiac Sonographer duties as outlined in position summary.
Position Qualifications Required / Experience Required:
2D echocardiogram, Doppler experience, cardiovascular stress echocardiogram experience, and transesophageal echocardiogram experience required.
Familiar with digital echocardiogram systems.
Required Education:
College level, accredited clinical program in echocardiography.
Training/Certifications/Licensure:
BLS certification
Pediatric RCS/RDCS(P) credential through ARDMS required.
