Job DetailsJob Location: Marlton, NJ 08053Position Type: Full TimeSalary Range: $70,000.00 - $192,000.00 Salary/yearJob Category: Water ResourcesEngineer - Water Resources | Marlton, NJ | Full Time Buchart Horn is seeking skilled and detail-oriented engineers to join our Water Resources Strategic Business Unit to support the design and delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects. This position offers opportunities for engineers at different stages of their careers looking to grow their technical skills or take on greater responsibility.   What You’ll Do: In this role, you’ll contribute to projects that directly support public health, environmental sustainability, and community well-being.  You will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing construction and infrastructure projects that support essential water and wastewater systems. You will collaborate with internal teams, clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and meet all quality standards.  As part of an Engineering Team, you will: Assist with or manage the delivery of water and wastewater infrastructure projects as well as land development and stormwater design in support of water and wastewater infrastructure projects (level of responsibility based on experience) Prepare engineering plans, specifications, and technical reports Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies, and design evaluations Utilize design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar tools Ensure compliance with applicable codes, regulations, and safety standards Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and external stakeholders throughout project phases Monitor project progress, troubleshoot technical challenges, and provide recommendations Support proposal development and contribute to pursuit strategies as needed Stay current on water and wastewater regulations, design technologies, and best practices QualificationsWhat We’re Looking For: Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering from an ABET accredited program Fundamentals of Engineering (FE)/Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required; Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred Proficiency in civil engineering design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, etc.) preferred Knowledge of hydraulic and hydraulic modeling tools such as WaterGEMS,  SewerGEMS, and/or BioWin or other similar process modeling software preferred Knowledge of Water and Wastewater Conveyance Systems, Treatment Systems, and Process Design Experience with Land Development and Stormwater Systems preferred Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulatory requirements Strong communication, organization, and project management skills Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities Why Join Us: Contribute to projects that have a direct and lasting impact on the communities we serve Join a firm with decades of trusted engineering and planning expertise Work in a collaborative, supportive environment with opportunities for professional growth Engage in diverse and challenging projects tailored to your skill level Receive a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package
