EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven track record of successfully implementing process improvements and driving operational excellence.
- Experience with a variety of manufacturing processes listed above is highly desirable.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, fabrication methods, tool design, and production principles.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for design and process improvement.
- Ability to read blueprints, drawings, or schematics.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and statistical analysis tools.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision making.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate across different departments and levels of the organization.
- Project management skills to lead and coordinate process improvement projects effectively.

DECISION MAKING
- Determining optimal manufacturing processes while considering factors such as efficiency, quality, cost, and scalability.
- Selecting appropriate equipment and machinery for each manufacturing process by evaluating capabilities, compatibility with existing systems, cost-effectiveness, and future expansion needs.
- Identifying root causes of production issues and implementing timely corrective actions based on analysis of process data, experimentation, and collaboration with other departments.
- Determining prioritization of continuous improvement projects in efficiency, quality, and safety.
- Accurately estimating project budgets to stay within 5% of projected budget.
