Job Description

NETZSCH Pumps USA is looking for a motivated, experienced CNC Machinist for their Exton, PA facility on the 1st shift. This position is responsible for the operating and programming of Mazak CNC mill/turns using Mazatrol, CNC Saw, and manual equipment.

NETZSCH has been developing, producing and distributing positive displacement pumps worldwide for more than 70 years. The CNC Machinist 2 will complete the following duties among others:

Set up, operate, and maintain various CNC machines, including mills and lathes
Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
Perform quality checks and ensure parts meet required tolerances and specifications
Troubleshoot and resolve machining issues to minimize downtime
Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols
Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and efficiency
Monitor and maintain inventory of materials and tools
Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines and related equipment

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; technical school certification in CNC machining preferred
At least 3 years of setting up and operating CNC lathes with live tooling is required.
Experience with 4 & 5 axis mill/turn machines and familiarity with Mazak machines and Mazatrol programs is preferred.
Skilled with metric dimensions and tolerances is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints with accuracy.
Expertise in using precision measuring instruments and quality control techniques
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong analytical and organizational abilities
Understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control standards
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes
