Job Overview:

As a Scientist I/II – LC-MS/MS Bioanalysis, you will develop, optimize, troubleshoot, and validate bioanalytical methods supporting DMPK and regulated studies. You'll work with advanced LC-MS/MS and high-resolution mass spectrometry platforms while gaining exposure to a broad range of therapeutic modalities-from traditional small molecules to peptides, oligonucleotides, PROTACs, biologics, and emerging therapies.

This opportunity is ideal for an early-career bioanalytical scientist who wants to expand beyond routine sample analysis and develop deeper expertise in method development, complex bioanalysis, scientific problem-solving, and study execution within a global CRO/CDMO environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, optimize, troubleshoot, and validate LC-MS/MS bioanalytical methods supporting drug discovery and development programs.
  • Perform bioanalytical sample analysis for DMPK, method development, validation, and regulated studies.
  • Operate LC-MS/MS and HPLC platforms and gain exposure to advanced mass spectrometry technologies.
  • Design and execute scientifically sound experiments aligned with client objectives, study requirements, and internal quality standards.
  • Process, analyze, interpret, and report bioanalytical data while identifying and resolving technical challenges.
  • Review and execute study protocols and ensure accurate documentation of experimental procedures, results, and conclusions.
  • Author and contribute to protocols, validation reports, technical summaries, study reports, and other scientific documentation.
  • Support GLP and regulated bioanalytical activities in accordance with applicable procedures and quality requirements.
  • Collaborate with scientists, project teams, management, Business Development, and clients to support successful project execution.
  • Participate in scientific project reviews, technical discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • As experience develops, take on increasing scientific ownership and opportunities to support studies in a Principal Investigator and/or Study Director capacity, as appropriate.

What We're Looking For

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
  • 1–3+ years of relevant bioanalytical laboratory experience; position level will be determined based on experience and demonstrated technical capabilities.
  • Hands-on experience with LC-MS/MS bioanalysis, including exposure to method development, optimization, validation, and/or sample analysis.
  • Understanding of chromatographic and mass spectrometric principles.
  • Strong analytical thinking and ability to troubleshoot scientific and technical challenges.
  • Ability to accurately analyze, interpret, document, and communicate scientific data.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative scientific environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience developing and validating LC-MS/MS bioanalytical methods.
  • Experience working within a GLP or regulated bioanalytical environment.
  • Experience with SCIEX Triple Quad platforms, including 6500+ and/or 7600 systems, or comparable LC-MS/MS instrumentation.
  • Experience with high-resolution mass spectrometry platforms.
  • Experience supporting DMPK and regulated bioanalytical studies.
  • Experience analyzing complex modalities such as peptides, oligonucleotides, PROTACs, biologics, or other emerging therapeutic modalities.
  • Experience with HPLC and other analytical detection platforms.
  • Experience authoring protocols, validation reports, technical summaries, or study reports.
  • Previous CRO, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology industry experience.
  • Experience collaborating directly with clients or cross-functional scientific teams.
