 Platform Description:

Ground Tactical Engagement Systems (TES) MILES consists of simulation and training equipment including but not limited to the following: I-MILES Combat Vehicle Tactical Engagement Simulation System (CV TESS), Opposing forces Surrogate Tracked Vehicle (OSTV) ,  Opposing Forces Surrogate Vehicle (OSV) , Opposing forces Surrogate Wheeled Vehicle (OSWV), MILES XXI M2/M3A2/A3 Bradley Fighting Vehicle CVS/ I-MILES, Tactical Vehicle System (TVS) TVS, M107 Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System Individual Weapons System (MILES IWS & MILES IWS/2), IWS/2, Mirror Alignment Jig Kit (MAJiK  & MAJIK-V2),  MILES 2000, Laser Target Interface Device (LTID), MILES-B, MK-19, M1 (Short Range) Small Arms (SAAF), Simulated Area Weapons Effects (SAWE)/(MILES) II, Instrumentable Multiple Integrated Laser Engagement System (I-MILES), Shoulder Launched Munitions (SLM), STRYKER, Universal Controller Device (UCD) TOW Improved Target Acquisition System – Tactical Engagement Simulation System (ITAS-TESS)


Responsibilities

Job Description:

  • General work requirements are in warehouse environment coordinating/executing/tracking/reporting orders as necessary
  • Provide support by supporting multiple end-user locations
  • Oversees the receipt of materials, verifying quantities, and entering data into inventory management systems.*Allocates and organizes storage space efficiently to maximize the use of the warehouse
  • Determines the appropriate locations for materials based on their size, frequency of use, and compatibility with other items
  • Verify storage facilities comply with safety regulations and any specific storage requirements for certain materials, such as hazardous substances
  • Maintains a clean and safe environment and ensuring materials are stored in a manner that prevents damage or deterioration
  • Picks materials/kits from storage areas to fulfill orders
  • Responsible and Accountable to ensure mission essential items are ordered, stored, tracked, and distributed in support of multiple US Army training organizations, providing business reporting, tracking, and coordination to company management and with supported US Army Training organizations
  • Failure to provide efficient and timely support, accurate reporting, and comprehensive coordination/communication could result in negative impact US Army Training Schedules and capability of customer to meet critical mission requirements
  • Discretion and Judgement required to provide hub support for multiple end-users, to effectively prioritize resources and implement efficiencies to meet critical mission requirements

 


Qualifications

Required Experience:

  • Overseeing the receipt of materials, verifying quantities, and entering data into inventory management systems
  • Experience allocating and organizing storage space efficiently to maximize the use of the warehouse
  • Experience determining the appropriate locations for materials based on their size, frequency of use, and compatibility with other items
  • Experience ensuring storage facilities comply with safety regulations and any specific storage requirements for certain materials, such as hazardous substances
  • Experience maintaining a clean and safe environment, ensuring materials are stored in a manner that prevents damage or deterioration.*Experience picking materials/kits from storage areas to fulfill orders
  • Experience packaging materials/kits for shipment or transfer to protect the equipment during transit
  • Experience labeling all packages accurately with the necessary information, including product identification, quantity, batch numbers, and any safety warnings
  • Responsible for physical inventory reconciliation

 

Education:

  • (2 +BA/BS or 1+MA/MS) or (2 +AA) or (1+No Degree)
