Program Overview

The Army National Guard (ARNG) Enterprise Network Operations and Cybersecurity Support (ENOCS) program delivers comprehensive enterprise IT infrastructure, WAN, cybersecurity, and associated services to the ARNG and its mission partners. The program supports more than 120,000 users and 141,000 endpoints across approximately 2,800 sites spanning 54 states and territories, enabling Title 10 and Title 32 missions, domestic emergency response operations, mobilization readiness, and classified SIPRNet operations.

Task 2 — Enterprise Applications Support — delivers engineering, operations, and sustainment of enterprise software applications and IT capabilities supporting more than 120,000 users and 141,000 endpoints across approximately 2,800 ARNG sites nationwide. This task area ensures mission-critical applications remain current, secure, and aligned with evolving ARNG requirements by integrating innovation, emerging technologies, and continuous improvement practices into application lifecycle management.

Position Summary

ECS is seeking a Software Developer - Journeyman to support the Army National Guard ENOCS program by developing, testing, and maintaining mission-critical enterprise applications. The selected candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the reliability and security of application code, adhering to architecture standards and security protocols. This position is integral to enhancing system capabilities and supporting deployment readiness within a collaborative Agile/DevSecOps environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain enterprise-level application code in compliance with approved requirements and security standards.
  • Test software components to ensure functionality and quality within Agile frameworks.
  • Resolve software defects and implement system enhancements to optimize performance.
  • Collaborate on integration activities to ensure seamless application deployment.
  • Support deployment readiness by preparing application code for production environments.
  • Participate in Agile/DevSecOps processes to enhance software development lifecycle.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of large codebases across multiple organizational units.
  • Ensure application security controls are integrated into the development process.
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Clearance: Secret Eligible required
  • S. Citizenship required
  • DoD 8140.03 Compliance: DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) Work Role 632-Systems Developer at the Basic proficiency level
  • Certifications (one or more required): CND
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum of 4.5 years of experience in enterprise software development using C# and .NET technologies
  • Proven expertise in developing and testing application code in Agile environments
  • Experience in defect resolution and implementing system enhancements
  • Demonstrated ability to work with large codebases across multiple organizations
