The Opportunity:


CACI is hiring multiple Business Systems Analysts to join our growing Financial Management Business Transformation (FMBT) Systems Integration (SI) Team supporting the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). This is an opportunity to work on a high-impact federal modernization initiative replacing legacy financial management systems with a modern COTS product. 


    • We are seeking  candidates with 3-5 years’ experience in federal financial accounting and ERP systems implementation experience.
    • Applicants must have prior work experience ideally with some experience working on Momentum Financials or similar COTS financial ERP systems (e.g., SAP or Oracle). 


Responsibilities:

  • Analyze current business processes and develop requirements.

  • Map requirements to Momentum Financials via gap analysis 

  • Track and document changes to business requirements 

  • Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and PI planning)

  • Collaborate with other analysts and stakeholders to understand the organization’s business processes.

  • Under the guidance of more senior subject matter experts, develop expertise in the COTS tool, Federal nancial Management business processes, and ERP implementation best practices.

  • Develop test scenarios for the execution of manual functional testing 

  • Determine and meet time estimates, and schedules for project execution

  • Participate in client facing meetings to gather, analyze and validate requirements 

  • Clearly and professionally communicate with client and management during requirements gathering and throughout project lifecycle. 


Qualifications:

Required: 

  • US citizenship is required.

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Associates/Vocational/Technical education or equivalent work experience.

  • Must have the ability to pass a Public Trust background investigation.

  • Strong analytical and written and oral communication skills.

  • Ability to work both independently and with a team to solve problems.

  • Self-starter. Quick to learn and put new skills to use.

  • Ability to eciently and effectively handle multiple and shifting priorities while meeting deadlines. 

  • Flexibility to put in hours needed to meet tight deadlines.


Desired:

  • Experience working with the Momentum Financials front-end and database.

  • Understanding of Agile methodologies.

  • Experience with requirement management tools (Jira, Agility, VersionOne, Confluence).

  • Ability to learn or write and execute SQL statements.

  • Willingness to work onsite with client partners.
