How You'll Make an Impact
- Build trusted relationships by serving as the primary point of contact for assigned employee benefits clients.
- Lead annual renewal and open enrollment activities, including carrier marketing, renewal analysis, employee communication, and implementation planning.
- Develop and present benefit recommendations that align with client objectives, budgets, and workforce needs.
- Coordinate with carriers, vendors, producers, and internal stakeholders to resolve claims, enrollment, eligibility, billing, and policy-related issues.
- Analyze claims data and plan performance trends to identify opportunities for improvement and cost management.
- Maintain accurate account records, policy documentation, and client activity while ensuring high-quality service delivery.

What You Bring
Day One:
- Active Virginia Life & Health insurance license.
- 2+ years of experience in employee benefits, account management, or client service within the insurance industry.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Strong knowledge of employee benefits programs, plan designs, enrollment processes, and compliance considerations.
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships while delivering exceptional service.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills.
- Strong analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and benefits or agency management platforms.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation, data management, and account servicing.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, carriers, vendors, and internal team members.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to professional and ethical standards.
Valuable Additions:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.
- Experience creating employee-facing benefit communication materials and enrollment resources.
- Experience conducting claims reviews and identifying plan performance trends and cost drivers.
- Knowledge of carrier marketing strategies and renewal planning processes.
- Experience supporting employee education initiatives and benefit engagement programs.
