Intel's Government Technology Group is seeking an experienced Foundry Solutions Architect to drive customer engagement and business outcomes aligned with mission requirements. This role combines deep technical expertise with strong business acumen to accelerate adoption of Intel Foundry Services. The ideal candidate brings proven leadership, strong customer-facing experience, and a deep understanding of semiconductor technologies working at the intersection of engineering and business to support government and defense customers.Â

Key Responsibilities
Partner with customers and Business Development to design tailored Intel Foundry solutionsÂ
Support the full sales cycle from engagement through deliveryÂ
Provide technical leadership in presentations, demonstrations, and solution design discussionsÂ
Develop proposals, reference architectures, and proof-of-concept solutionsÂ
Collaborate with engineering teams to validate feasibility and optimize designsÂ
Drive competitive positioning, pricing, and contract negotiationsÂ
Deliver technical documentation, implementation roadmaps, and risk mitigation plansÂ

Domain ExpertiseÂ
Build deep knowledge of Intel Foundry Services, roadmaps, and IP offeringsÂ
Stay current on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and USG/DIB market dynamicsÂ
Understand semiconductor supply chain, pricing models, and contract structuresÂ
Â
Cross-Functional LeadershipÂ
Establish trusted advisor relationships with customer technical stakeholdersÂ
Partner across engineering, business development, and marketing teamsÂ
Translate customer needs into actionable technical and business solutionsÂ
Contribute market insights to influence product and roadmap strategyÂ
Â
Pipeline and Opportunity ManagementÂ
Identify, qualify, and advance new business opportunitiesÂ
Support win strategies, competitive positioning, and deal executionÂ
Manage technical sales activities through contract negotiation and closeÂ
Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and forecasting in CRM systemsÂ

Sales Enablement and Market DevelopmentÂ
Develop technical collateral for U.S. Government and defense marketsÂ
Support marketing initiatives and customer success storytellingÂ
Represent Intel at industry events as a technical subject matter expertÂ
Drive initiatives to expand market reach and customer value realizationÂ
Qualifications:
The Minimum qualifications are required to be initially considered for this position.  Minimum qualifications listed below would be obtained through a combination of industry relevant job experience, internship experience and / or schoolwork/classes/research. The preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates.Â

Minimum Qualifications Â
U.S. Citizenship requiredÂ
Active U.S. Government Secret security clearance required, with the ability to obtain and maintain TS/SCIÂ
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fieldÂ
7+Â years of experience in semiconductor design, foundry services, technical sales, solutions engineering, business development, or other customer-facing technical rolesÂ
Experience of semiconductor manufacturing processes, design flows, and foundry business modelsÂ
Experience with advanced process nodes (7nm and below), including chiplets and advanced packagingÂ
Experience with EDA tools, PDKs, and modern design methodologiesÂ
Â
Preferred QualificationsÂ
Post graduate degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, or related fieldÂ
Experience in semiconductor, silicon, or integrated hardware/software solutionsÂ
Experience supporting U.S. Government (USG) or Defense Industrial Base (DIB) environmentsÂ
Proven ability to support customer engagements, develop solutions, and effectively position technical offeringsÂ
Experience with federal contracting and procurement processesÂ
Experience with consultative, solution-based selling approachesÂ
Experience working with Business Development and sales/marketing organizationsÂ
Experience translating complex technical concepts into clear customer value propositionsÂ
Experience developing sales collateral and market-facing materialsÂ

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in the US: $164,470.00-311,890.00 USDÂ
