Inova 2740 Prosperity Ave is looking for a dedicated HIV Health Educator to join the team. This role will be Full-Time Days Monday-Friday.

HIV Health Educator Job Responsibilities:

Assists with the development of grant applications.
Participates in the planning and implementation of conferences.
Designs and distributes program brochures within timeframes defined by policy.
Creates curriculum modules for specific Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) prevention/care topics.
Identifies gaps in services by developing contacts with local AIDS service organizations.
Provides assistance with program/policy development to community based organizations and healthcare providers.
Collects data, as required, by funding source 95 percent of the time and assisting with the preparation of reports/grants.
Conducts needs assessments in community based organizations and healthcare facilities, as determined by grant requirements.
May perform additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in related field (or relevant experience in lieu of degree equivalent to 8 years)
Experience: 3 years of relevant experience
