Inova Children’s is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Gastroenterologist to join our growing pediatric team. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a nationally recognized children’s health system and contribute to the continued expansion of comprehensive pediatric specialty care throughout Northern Virginia. This full-time position is eligible for a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

  • Pediatric Cardiac ICU & Pediatric ICU

  • Pediatric Hematology-Oncology Unit 

  • Pediatric Intermediate Care Unit 

  • Pediatric Cardiac Acute Care Unit 

  • Pediatric Medical Surgical Units with EMU 

  • Pediatric Emergency Department 

  • Pediatric Inpatient EEG, Video EEG, and EMU. Outpatient EEG Program, and Sleep Lab

Minimum Qualifications:

 

  • Education: Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution.  

  • Board Certification: Board eligible or board certified in Pediatric Gastroenterology 

  • Training: Successful completion of pediatric residency program and successful completion of ACGME-accredited Pediatric Gastroenterology fellowship. 

  • Licensure: Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia.

  • Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) upon start. 

  • Payer Credentialing: Ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third-party payors and Ability to enrolled as a CMS Medicare/Medicaid payor

  • Medical Staff Credentialing: Successful completion of credentialing for Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges sufficient to perform all required services
