Inova Children’s is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Pediatric Pulmonologist to join our growing pediatric team. Inova Children’s Pulmonary is committed to building a team of 6 Pediatric Pulmonologists dedicated to caring for a diverse population of children with lung and breathing-related conditions. Â
Inova Children’s Pulmonary includes an accredited Cystic Fibrosis Center, which is part of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Therapeutics Development Network. The Cystic Fibrosis team includes nurse navigators, respiratory therapists, registered dietitians and clinical specialist pharmacists.Â

Multi-disciplinary clinics, including Cystic Fibrosis, BPD, ventilator dependent, and aerodigestive clinic.Â
Physicians with additional board certification/board eligility in Sleep Medicine may have dual-practice opportunities at the Inova Children’s Sleep Center.

Inova Children’s Pulmonology will support inpatient consultative care and outpatient clinic within the following structure: Hospital coverage based on one in six service weeks. Outpatient clinic expectations are 7 half-day clinics/week.Â
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a nationally recognized children’s health system and contribute to the continued expansion of comprehensive pediatric specialty care throughout Northern Virginia. This full-time position is eligible for a sign-on bonus and relocation assistance.

Minimum Qualifications:
Â
Education: Doctor of Medicine degree from an accredited institution. Â
Board Certification: Board eligible or board certified in Pediatric PulmonologyÂ
Training: Successful completion of pediatric residency program and successful completion of ACGME-accredited pediatric pulmonology fellowship.Â
Licensure: Current unrestricted license to practice medicine in the State of Virginia.
Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) upon start.Â
Payer Credentialing: Ability to successfully complete the credentialing process by third-party payors and Ability to enrolled as a CMS Medicare/Medicaid payor
Medical Staff Credentialing: Successful completion of credentialing for Medical Staff membership and appropriate clinical privileges sufficient to perform all required services
