Inova Fair Oaks Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Therapist 3 to join the team. This role will be Full-Time 36 hours per week 7:00Pm to 7:00AM with weekends

Job Responsibilities:

The Respiratory Therapist 3 administers advanced respiratory care therapeutics and diagnostic services with a high level of skill and proficiency.
Integrates knowledge, skills, and experience to promote optimum patient care.
Utilizes standards, guidelines, protocols, and pathways for optimal care delivery.
Incorporates data and information to continually improve care/practice to enhance outcomes is essential. Works effectively and appropriately while communicating with other healthcare team members, patients, and families.
May perform additional duties as assigned.

Additional Requirements:

2 Years of critical care experience
Graduate of an accredited CoArc (The Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care) respiratory program.
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). One of the following (ACLS, PALS or NRP). In addition, must possess one of the following: an additional Advance Certification (ACLS, PALS or NRP) or an Advanced Credential (ACCS, AEC, NPS, RPFT, CPFT or SDS) or a relevant Bachelors Degree.
BLS from AHA Upon Start
Licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Respiratory Therapist.
