Duties and tasks include but are not limited to the following:Â
- This role requires the ability to correspond and conduct meetings in Spanish with clients, partners, and internal teams, in addition to English.

Responsible for timely processing of Conventional, FHA and VA mortgage loan applications in compliance with investor requirements.  VHDA and NCHFA processing experience a plus.Â

Ensure completeness of mortgage loan applications, clarifying and obtaining additional documentation as neededÂ

Prepare loan file for underwriting approvalÂ

Proactive communication of loan status to originators, borrowers and agentsÂ
Minimum qualifications:Â
- Must be fluent in both English and Spanish to effectively communicate with a diverse client base and ensure accurate loan processing.
- At least 3-5 years of experience processing mortgage loan applicationsÂ
- Familiarity with FHA, VA, USDA, bond and conventional underwriting guidelines and loan processÂ
- Prefer working knowledge of Encompass loan origination system Â
- Ability to review AUS findings and guidelines prior to loan submission to confirm that application fits loan program applied forÂ
- Proficient in Desktop Underwriter (DU) and Loan Product Advisor (LPA)Â
- New Construction experience preferredÂ
- Strong attention to detailÂ
- Ability to manage priorities and workflowÂ
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, multi-tasking and analytical skillsÂ
- Excellent written and oral communication skillsÂ
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasmÂ
