We're looking for a Senior Quality Engineer to drive quality across complex cloud applications, accelerate software delivery, and help shape the future of AI-enabled testing. This is a hybrid role based in Denver, Colorado.

Senior Quality Engineer - AI-Driven Testing

What You´ll Do

  • Design and execute test strategies across UI, API, database, integration, regression, contract, and end-to-end testing

  • Build, maintain, and optimize automated test frameworks using Selenium, Playwright, Postman, REST Assured, and modern testing tools

  • Perform performance and load testing using JMeter to validate scalability and reliability

  • Partner with Security Engineering to support application security testing

  • Leverage AI-powered tools such as Claude, GitHub Copilot, and BrowserStack to generate, optimize, and maintain test assets

  • Apply AI-driven techniques including intelligent test selection, self-healing automation, log analysis, and defect clustering

  • Evaluate emerging AI testing technologies and recommend adoption based on technical and business value

  • Configure Jira quality workflows, test management integrations, automation rules, and traceability

  • Build executive dashboards that track automation coverage, quality metrics, release readiness, defect trends, and MTTR

  • Deliver release readiness reports and provide go/no-go recommendations to engineering leadership

  • Drive quality practices across onshore and offshore teams while mentoring engineers through pair testing, code reviews, and knowledge sharing

  • Partner with Engineering, Product, DevOps, and PMO teams to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle

  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement, automation, and engineering excellence

What You´ll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field

  • 5+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, Test Automation, or Software Quality Assurance

  • Strong experience with UI and API automation using Selenium, Playwright, REST Assured, Postman, or similar frameworks

  • Experience with SQL and NoSQL database validation

  • Hands-on experience with performance testing using JMeter or equivalent tools

  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Agile methodologies, and modern software delivery practices

  • Experience testing cloud-native applications, microservices, APIs, and distributed systems

  • Hands-on experience with Jira and test management platforms

  • Experience applying AI technologies to software testing and engineering productivity

  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present quality metrics and release readiness to technical and business stakeholders

  • Experience collaborating with distributed and cross-functional teams

  • Passion for mentoring engineers and driving quality best practices

  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken
