French_ Arabic Linguist Translator TRAVEL ONLY

CACI is seeking TS/SCI Poly-cleared professionals fluent in both Arabic and French for Franco-Arabic/Francophone Arabic Speaker Translator and Interpreter positions. These roles support our prime government contract in Fairfax, VA. This is a TRAVEL ONLY role.

What You’ll Get to Do:

This role will enable you to utilize both your linguistic and analytical skills for mission-driven roles. You will translate and/or transcribe intermediate to advanced-level printed materials, including but not limited to: technical manuals, foreign language periodicals, and audio files into correct grammatical American English. You will work either lead or be part of a team of linguists supporting CONUS and/or OCONUS operations.

U.S. Citizenship is required
Education Required:  B.A. obtained in U.S. or in country of language skill

Clearance Required to work:  TS/SCI with polygraph

Testing Requirement:  Speaking, Listening and Reading test, Translation test, Interpretation test

Required skills:  Summarizing/gisting; translation related services; Triaging work; Quality Control; Editing

Linguist Type primary purpose will be translation

Years of related experience:5+ 

Work location:  Washington Metropolitan Area (WMA)

This is a TRAVEL ONLY role.

Language tests needed for position with minimum score

• SLR  -  4

• Translation  -  3+

• Interpretation  -  3

Linguistic services will specialize in the translation of complex and technical information.  Polished skills in core linguistic functions and linguistic services is a MUST

Core functions of translation, transcription and interpretation are key.  

Local travel will be on as as-needed basis within the WMA

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

• Previous military experience

• Has good understanding of one or more regional dialects

• Consecutive and/or simultaneous interpretation abilities
