Job Description

The Accounts Coordinator is responsible for supporting assigned key accounts, clients and sales support services for their assigned business unit.

Job Functions

  • Working closely with assigned clients and leads to determine needs
  • Support Sales in account development and business activities to ensure that all inquiries are managed in a streamlined and timely manner
  • Prepare written proposals to be issued to clients within 24 hours. Collaborate with team members for strategic and technical support to complete the requests.
  • Work with sales to develop new opportunities by prospecting past customers, identifying new potential clients and building client relationships for house accounts across the BU.
  • Acts as the liaison between the customer and lab managers, responding to questions and resolving problems by coordinating with internal partners.
  • Prepare weekly/monthly sales reports and support the monthly management reports.
  • Submit relevant sample documentation to labs including submission forms, purchase orders and SOW’s for subcontracted services. Update the order system and clients with report dates.
  • Receive and process orders accurately from clients, sales, KAMs and affiliates
  • Ensure proper documentation and samples have been received for order processing; manages and tracks sample inventory to ensure timely processing
  • Send associated paperwork to the executing labs and verify the costs and timing of the contracted services
  • Analyzing, monitoring and reporting on key account data
  • Staying current on company services
  • Drafting and sending communications to clients about new offers.
  • Document All contacts and efforts with customers processes and practices for addressing the particular needs of their companies
  • Handling complaints and concerns.
  • Traveling to tradeshows and product launches.
  • Maintaining an accurate and updated database of client information.
  • Adhere to internal standards, policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

 

  • Associates degree (Required)
  • 2+ years working in customer service industry (Required)
  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field in science or engineering (Preferred)
