Position Summary: Ā
To enhance student participation and engagement in Growth of Consciousness (GoC) programs by combining digital communications, outreach, and personalized follow-up.Ā
This role supports online and on-campus initiatives through clear communication, professional presentation, and warm personal connection, ensuring each participant feels informed, inspired, and supported in their consciousness-growth journeyĀ
Key ResponsibilitiesĀ
Participant Engagement & OutreachĀ
- Send personalized follow-up messages to students after online Tune-Ups andĀ retreats.
- Conduct brief weekly check-ins with 3ā5 students to offer encouragement or guidance.
- Maintain an up-to-date outreach list in Microsoft Excel tracking participation and next steps.
Digital CommunicationsĀ
- Draft, design, and schedule MIU AppĀ posts promoting Tune-Ups, retreats, and departmental updates.
- Create simple, visually appealing graphics and event banners using Microsoft DesignerĀ or Canva for Education.
- Maintain accurate listings of GoC events and activities across MIU communication platforms.
Ā
Event Support & TrackingĀ
- Track online RSVPs and attendance through Microsoft FormsĀ responses or ZoomĀ reports.
- Collect short participant comments and summarise feedback themes for departmental review.
- Assist with setup, greeting, and registration for the in-person GoC retreats.
Reporting & DataĀ
- Log post-view numbers, RSVP totals, and attendance trends.
- Provide a brief monthly summary of engagement metrics to the Director.
Team CoordinationĀ
- Participate in a short weekly meeting with the Director to share progress and student insights.
- Collaborate with other GoC team members, including retreats coordination staff and fellow FWS students.
SupervisionĀ
- Reports directly to the Director of Growth of Consciousness.
- Ā Regular guidance and feedback will be provided through weekly check-ins.
- Ā Training and mentorship are offered to ensure alignment with departmental goals and MIUās Consciousness-Based Education mission.
Learning OutcomesĀ
- Develop professional communication, design, and data-management skills using Microsoft 365 tools.
- Gain experience in community engagement, program coordination, and consciousness-based leadership.
- Learn how effective communication supports student growth and participation.
- Strengthen collaboration, reliability, and organizational awareness in a university setting.
QualificationĀ
- Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Comfort using Microsoft 365 (Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word, Forms).
- Interest in meditation, personal development, and Consciousness-Based Education.
- Reliability, professionalism, and sensitivity to confidential information.

- Performance will be reviewed periodically based on the following criteria:
