Position Summary
The Mailroom Assistant supports the daily operations of the university’s mail services. This role is responsible for sorting and distributing incoming mail, processing outgoing packages, maintaining accurate delivery records, and providing excellent customer service to students, faculty, and staff. The Mailroom Assistant ensures the efficient, timely, and secure handling of all mail and packages, contributing to the smooth logistical flow and communication across campus.

Job Responsibilities:
- Receive, sort, and distribute mail for students and staff.
- Assist guests by ensuring a smooth and welcoming experience.
- Perform data entry and general administrative support as needed.
- Process outgoing mail, including weighing, labeling, and preparing packages for courier pickup
 Maintain a clean, organized, and functional mailroom environment
Job Qualifications:
- Basic computer literacy with proficiency in data entry.
- Strong English communication skills to effectively assist students and staff.
- A team-oriented mindset with the ability to work efficiently in a busy environment.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or collaboratively
 Comfortable lifting light to moderate packages (within safety guidelines)
