Our life policy services department is currently seeking an associate customer service representative. This role is responsible for servicing both our agents and policyholders with their life insurance policies. This position is based at our Headquarters in Fairfield, Ohio.
The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $19.50 hourly. The pay determination is based on the applicant’s education, experience, location, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Eligible associates may also receive an annual cash bonus and stock incentives based on company and individual performance.
Be ready to:Â
- handles high volume of phone calls
- mail daily LifePRO letters, correspondence and checks
- process daily check extracts
- update addresses for returned mail
- logging all live checks in shared spreadsheet and hand deliver to Corporate Accounting for deposit
- receives customers’ requests by telephone, fax, mail, or e-mail; analyzes request, provides needed service or information as needed.
- processes loans, withdrawals, surrenders, inquiries, beneficiary/ownership changes, reinstatements, collateral assignments, external 1035/transfers, internal replacement and conversion close outs
- assigns tasks to co-workers as necessary
- assists in the formulation of various reports as needed
- assess department workload to provide back-up for co-workers as needed
- meet with field representatives for team meetingsÂ
Â
Be equipped with:Â
- ability to efficiently learn new operating systems and various reference materials
- ability to collaborate and work independently.
- desire to pursue further continuing education – including pursuit of accredited insurance class/exam (such as LOMA) or equivalent
- excellent oral and written communication skills
- good decision-making skills

Bring education and experience from:Â
a high school diploma or equivalent (required)
Â
- experience with LifePRO, LifePRO Digital Suite (LDS), Outlook, Excel, Lexis Nexis (preferred)Â
- excellent understanding of coverage, rating, company products and Life Policy Service responsibilities (preferred)
