NorthBay Health is seeking a Physician Assistant to join our expanding Neurosurgery program in Fairfield, CA. This position offers a unique mix of inpatient, outpatient, surgical, and critical care responsibilities while working alongside a collaborative team of Neurosurgeons specializing in complex spine and cranial procedures.

Practice Highlights
• Rotating 4-day, 10-hour schedule (7:00 AM to 5:00 PM)
• No nights, weekends, or call
• Level II Trauma Center
• 80% Spine | 20% Cranial Neurosurgery
• OR First Assist opportunities
• ICU, OR, inpatient, and outpatient clinic experience

Key Responsibilities
• Perform patient assessments, histories, and physical examinations.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with Neurosurgeons.
• Order, interpret, and communicate diagnostic tests and imaging results.
• Manage inpatient consults, admissions, rounds, and discharge planning.
• Conduct pre-operative, post-operative, and follow-up clinic visits.
• Serve as First Assist during neurosurgical procedures.
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment and recovery.
• Coordinate care with physicians, nursing staff, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation and orders.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient care planning.
