How Your Day Moves
You start Monday by scanning inventory positions and inbound ETAs, then pressure-test the week’s assumptions against what sales is seeing in the field. Midday, you’re on calls with key suppliers to confirm allocations, resolve backorders, and lock in program details. Afternoons are for tightening the forecast in Excel, reviewing open POs, and sharing clear updates with operations and the warehouse so receiving and staging stay smooth. Across the week, you spot patterns—slow movers, sudden spikes, freight or cost shifts—and translate them into practical adjustments that keep service levels strong without tying up cash.
