We’re looking for a dependable Service Technician to inspect, maintain, repair, and install Porta Kleen sanitation equipment in both shop and field environments. In this hands-on role, you'll help ensure restroom, shower, and sleeper trailers remain safe, reliable, and ready to meet customer needs through quality workmanship and exceptional service.

What You’ll Do

Inspect, maintain, repair, and install restroom, shower, and sleeper trailers to ensure safe and reliable operation.
Perform plumbing repairs and installations using PEX and Schedule 40/80 piping systems.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair LP gas systems and 110V/12V electrical components.
Complete preventative maintenance inspections to identify and resolve equipment issues before failures occur.
Test repaired equipment to verify proper operation and compliance with company quality standards.
Maintain accurate service records and communicate repair needs, parts usage, and equipment status.
Operate service vehicles and tow trailers while following DOT regulations and company safety requirements.
Load, unload, stage, and secure equipment to support efficient transportation and daily operations.
Coordinate with logistics and operations teams to prioritize repairs and minimize equipment downtime.
Maintain shop tools, service vehicles, and work areas in a clean, safe, and organized condition.
Respond professionally to customer service requests while representing Porta Kleen in a positive manner.

What You’ll Need

Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, service instructions, and repair documentation.
Valid driver's license and DOT medical card with the ability to meet DOT physical requirements.
Mechanical experience with plumbing, electrical, or equipment repair preferred.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and perform frequent bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, and repetitive motion throughout 8–12-hour shifts.
Comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and around industrial noise, LP gas systems, sanitation waste, and cleaning chemicals while wearing required PPE.
Willingness to travel between job sites and work extended shifts, overtime, weekends, or holidays as business needs require.
Must provide personal hand tools necessary to perform routine repair and maintenance tasks.
