RL Industries, Inc. is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented TIG Welder / GTAW Stainless Steel Welder to join our production team. RL Industries is known for producing engineered, high-quality equipment for critical client applications. Our experienced craftsmen fabricate complex equipment to stringent industry and customer specifications.

The primary effort for this position will be to support production of LM2500 enclosures for U.S. and foreign navies. This role requires a strong focus on workmanship, weld quality, safety, inspection readiness, documentation, and the ability to follow approved procedures and project requirements.

The ideal candidate will have experience with Gas Tungsten Arc Welding, or GTAW, on stainless steel materials. Candidates must be able to complete required classroom training, pass a written exam, and pass a hands-on GTAW weld qualification test.

The required weld test consists of a GTAW 3G vertical-up double V-groove test plate using 3/8 inch thick 304 stainless steel. The test must pass both visual inspection and bend testing.

Current or future qualification requirements may include NAVSEA (Naval Sea Systems Command) Welder, NAVSEA Level 1 NDT Operator and NAVSEA Level 2 NDT Inspector.


Monday - Friday 6:00 AM - 3:30 PM plus Overtime
