Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop mechanical systems for various machinery applications.
  • Conduct system evaluation and testing to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate design solutions.
  • Work closely with engineering, production, purchasing, sales, and management.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and coworkers.
  • Prepare technical documentation and specifications for project deliverables.
  • Implement safety standards and best practices in all engineering processes.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users and maintenance teams.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in electrical controls.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, technical training or equivalent experience.
  • 3-5+ years of experience in machinery design.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency where applicable.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
