Pick Up and Delivery Driver



We're looking for a dependable Pick Up & Delivery Driver to support Porta Kleen's sanitation operations by delivering, placing, relocating, and retrieving portable sanitation equipment. In this role, you'll help ensure customers receive reliable, timely service while maintaining safe operating practices and representing the company with professionalism.

What You'll Do

• Deliver, retrieve, and relocate portable restrooms, hand wash stations, trailers, holding tanks, and related sanitation equipment.
• Transport equipment safely while following assigned routes and delivery schedules.
• Position, level, and secure equipment to meet customer specifications and maintain safe placement.
• Load and unload portable sanitation equipment using approved lifting techniques, dollies, and hand tools.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and promptly report mechanical or safety concerns.
• Accurately track hours of service and work time using company mobile devices while remaining compliant with DOT regulations and company policies.
• Complete DOT-required logs, delivery documentation, work orders, and inspection reports accurately and on time.
• Communicate with dispatch regarding route status, delays, customer requests, and job site conditions.
• Maintain assigned vehicles, trailers, equipment, and mobile devices in clean, safe, and working condition, reporting any issues promptly.
• Follow all company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and customer-specific site protocols.
• Provide courteous, dependable service while resolving routine customer concerns professionally.

What You'll Need

• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record (fewer than 8 MVR points and no preventable accidents).
• Valid DOT Medical Card or the ability to obtain and maintain certification.
• Experience operating box trucks or safely towing and maneuvering trailers preferred.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, and maneuver 75–100 pounds on a regular basis.
• Ability to adjust work schedules as needed to assist team members, complete routes, and respond to changing customer demands or operational needs.
• Ability to perform repetitive physical activities including bending, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching throughout 8–12 hour shifts.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while working outdoors in heat, cold, rain, dust, and industrial environments with exposure to noise while wearing required PPE.
• Ability to safely tow, back, position, and maneuver trailers in confined or congested job sites preferred.
