Job Summary

All Metals in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a reliable, detail‑oriented Dispatcher to serve as the primary point of contact for incoming calls, emails, and shipment coordination. This role is essential to keeping our logistics operations running smoothly, ensuring accurate communication between customers, drivers, and internal teams.

Shift Schedule

This is a 1st‑shift position, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Pay: $25-$27 per hour (Based on Experience and On-site Interview)

Job Function

Key Responsibilities

Call & Email Intake — Receive, record, and manage all incoming communication with accuracy and professionalism.
Customer Response Management — Provide fast, accurate responses to customer inquiries via phone and email.
Driver & Truck Dispatching — Schedule and dispatch drivers to appropriate locations based on customer needs and load requirements.
Route & Load Coordination — Determine the most efficient delivery routes and load assignments to support cost‑effective operations.
Driver Communication — Ensure drivers are informed of customer hours, load details, and any special instructions.
Log Monitoring — Monitor driver daily logs and maintain familiarity with DOT Hours of Service regulations.

DOT HOS Knowledge — Familiarity with federal Hours of Service regulations is preferred.
Experience with McLeod is preferred.
