We are searching for a talented Occupational Therapist Assistant

Hours: Per Diem  

Shift:  Day shift  

Location: Southcoast Business Center – Fairhaven, MA

Travel: Driving on average 3 or more times per week required

Responsibilities

Under direction of the Clinical Manager and the Occupational Therapist, work toward the achievement of the following patient goals: prevent disability, relieve pain, develop, improve or restore motor function and maintain maximum physical, emotional, social and mental performance within the patients capabilities. Meet all documentation requirements in a complete and timely manner.

Qualifications

• The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant is required to have an associate degree from a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Program.
• Two years experience required. Home care experience preferred.
• Must possess and demonstrate highly effective interpersonal, customer service and communication skills.
• Requires proficient computer skills, including experience with various software, database and electronic records programs.
• Must be licensed as a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant by the Board of Registration in Medicine of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

• Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID 19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired. 

   

• Compensation: Pay rate will be determined based on level of experience.
