About the Role:

The Resident Care Assistant plays a vital role in providing compassionate and personalized care to residents within healthcare and social assistance settings. This position focuses on supporting the daily living activities of residents, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• CPR and First Aid certification.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems.

Responsibilities:

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
• Monitor and document residents’ physical and emotional conditions, reporting any concerns to nursing staff promptly.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to residents, encouraging social interaction and engagement.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment for residents by following established protocols.
• Support meal preparation and feeding assistance as needed, ensuring dietary requirements are met.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement individualized care plans effectively.
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including infection control procedures.
