Sigma Defense is seeking an Quality Management System & Standards Analyst to join our team! This role demands a combination of strategic vision, operational discipline, and solutions-focused leadership - an individual who can comprehend and balance the strictness of quality standards with the needs and limitations of our employees, customers, and other stakeholders. They must be able to connect the gap between compliance requirements and operational implementation.

  • 2-5 years of experience leading or directly supporting quality efforts to develop, monitor, and continually improve an enterprise QMS required (preferably in a government contracting environment).
  • Strong ability to navigate and use Microsoft Applications for document management, team collaboration, data analysis, communication, and general computing tasks.
  • Strong experience with Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with Access, OneNote, Visio, Project, and Publisher is preferred.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.

Key Characteristics (required):

  • Analytical, accuracy, and attention to detail for documentation and compliance monitoring.
  • Problem solving to address quality defects or process deviations.
  • Data collection, analysis, and reporting of performance outcomes to ensure quality and compliance.
  • Communication (written and verbal) to articulate information and train personnel.
  • Regulatory knowledge and familiarity with industry standards and best practices.

Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Quality Management, Business Administration, or related field of study.
  • May be substituted for an Associate’s degree in business or relevant field with certifications, such as:
    • Lean / Six Sigma (Green Belt)
    • Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Lead Auditor (training)
    • Certified Quality Process Analyst (CPQA)
    • Certified Quality Improvement Associate (CQIA)
    • Certified Quality Manager (CQM)

Essential Job Duties (not all-inclusive):

  • Work with teams to standardize and streamline workflows for efficiency.
  • Plan and conduct internal audits for compliance.
  • Identify and address issues of nonconformance through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
  • Analyze process outcomes for trends and to drive improvements.
  • Quality Management System Implementation.
  • Process Design and Documentation.
  • Data Collection, Tracking, and Reporting.
  • Change Control / Document Management.
  • Risk and Governance.
  • Operational Support and Training.

Salary Range: $70,000 - $105,000 annually.
