Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Prepare dressings, sauces, vinaigrettes, and other condiments according to restaurant standards. 
  • Wash, chop, and prepare ingredients for salads and cold dishes. 
  • Plate and garnish menu items with attention to presentation and consistency. 
  • Monitor inventory levels and restock pantry supplies as needed. 
  • Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly handled, and stored according to food safety guidelines. 
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation throughout service. 
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health regulations at all times. 
Required Skills & Abilities:
  • Previous experience as a Pantry Cook or in a similar kitchen role preferred. 
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment, tools, and food preparation techniques. 
  • Strong knife skills with excellent attention to detail and presentation. 
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen environment. 
  • Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude. 
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Education
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 
  • Food handler training preferred.
