SR. FINANCIAL REPORTING ACCOUNTANT

As the Senior Financial Reporting Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering clear, accurate, and insightful financial reporting. This position leads the preparation, analysis, and review of financial statements and disclosures, ensuring the highest standards of accuracy, transparency, and timeliness. Working closely with cross-functional partners, this role supports audits, strengthens internal controls, and helps drive confidence in the company’s financial results.
What You'll Do:
Financial Reporting
• Coordinate the preparation of financial statements for both internal leadership and external parties, ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP and company policies.
• Prepare internal management reporting packages that provide insight into business performance, including variance commentary and trend analysis
• Support external reporting requirements, including audited financial statements, lender reporting, and other compliance-related submissions
Accounting & Analysis
• Support the month‑end close process and meet established close deadlines for reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting deliverables
Review of trial balances and monthly trends; perform additional review as needed to support the close
Internal Controls & Compliance
• Support the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of internal controls over financial reporting
• Identify control gaps, propose improvements, and help streamline processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and reliability of financial data
• Assist in developing and updating accounting policies and procedures
What You Bring:
Must Haves
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in public accounting and/or relevant industry
experience
• Proficiency in Excel
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to communicate financial information clearly to non‑financial stakeholders
Nice To Haves
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
Experience in an Architecture, Engineering, or professional services environment
Deltek and financial reporting tool experience

The rate for this position generally ranges between $74- $93k annually. This range is a good faith estimate provided pursuant to the New York Pay Transparency Law. It is based on what a successful New York applicant might be paid and assumes that the successful candidate will be in New York or perform the position from New York. Similar positions located outside of New York will not necessarily receive the same compensation. Actual pay rates may vary from the range, as permitted by New York Equal Pay Transparency Law. Compensation offers will be based on various factors, including operational needs, individual education, qualifications and experience, work location and comparison to employees already in the role, as well as other considerations permitted by law. A potential new employee's pay history will not be used in compensation decisions.
