Assistant Food Service Director

Assistant Food Service Director needed for school food service in the Bergen County, NJ area. Day shift position, 6 to 7 hours per day. 10- month assignment , no weekends or holidays, summers off!

Must possess strong management, and leadership skills, experience in food service is required. Must be able to obtain the proper documentation to work in a school district.

Proficient in Google Workplace and Microsoft Programs; Excel, Word, Publisher, etc.

Travel between Bergen, Hudson, Passaic Counties

Duties to include:

• Overseeing the needs of the school district.
• Professional client communication.
• Assure that staff is maintaining the highest food safety and quality.
• Work hand and hand with the food service director.
• Must maintain a full staff, hire as needed.
• Assign training as needed.
• Assist in counseling/ and or disciplinary actions as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.
