The Store PIC (Person-In-Charge) is responsible for supporting store leadership during assigned shifts by ensuring store operations, customer service standards, and company policies are properly followed. This role provides shift-level supervision and assists store personnel in delivering excellent service and maintaining efficient store operations.

The Store PIC reports to the Store Manager or designated supervisor and serves as a point of contact for operational questions, customer service needs, and store procedures during assigned work periods.

Requirements

  Customer Service Leadership
  • Promote and maintain the highest standards of customer service within the store.
  • Lead by example in providing friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful service to customers.
  • Assist customers with product questions, store navigation, and service requests.
  • Address customer concerns or complaints within company guidelines when store management is unavailable.
Shift Supervision & Operational Support
  • Provide shift-level supervision and support to store employees during assigned work periods.
  • Ensure employees follow company policies, procedures, and operational standards.
  • Assist in coordinating store activities and tasks during the shift to maintain efficient operations.
  • Support store leadership in implementing company decisions and operational directives.
Front-End & Transaction Oversight
  • Approve or assist with transactions requiring supervisory authorization.
  • Maintain security of company assets including cash, registers, and financial documentation.
  • Assist employees with operational questions related to POS procedures and customer transactions.
Team Support & Training
  • Provide guidance and support to employees during store operations.
  • Assist with training employees in designated areas as directed by store leadership.
  • Participate actively in the duties and responsibilities of the teams being supervised.
Store Operations Awareness
  • Maintain awareness of store promotions, advertising items, and special displays.
  • Demonstrate general knowledge of store products, services, and departments.
  • Assist in maintaining smooth store operations by supporting multiple departments when needed.
  • Remain flexible and responsive to changing operational needs during shifts.

Qualifications

  • Prior retail experience preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service.
  • Ability to supervise or guide employees during assigned work shifts.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to remain flexible and assist with multiple operational tasks within the store.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
