As an Access Control Officer, you will support the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Security and Emergency Management Directorate (DSS) by ensuring the safety and security of MDA facilities across the United States. This position is ideal for professionals who are detail-oriented, customer-focused, and committed to maintaining a secure environment.

 

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

  • Control and monitor access to MDA facilities and restricted areas.
  • Verify credentials and ensure only authorized personnel gain entry.
  • Monitor security systems, alarms, and access control equipment.
  • Conduct visitor processing and screening activities.
  • Enforce security procedures and maintain compliance with established protocols.
  • Respond to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies.
  • Provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and government personnel.
  • Maintain accurate logs, reports, and security documentation.

Qualifications

  • Minimum High School Diploma or GED    
  • Able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance    
  • Certified in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) & Automated External Defibrillators (AED) certified (100%), and trained in Red Cross First Aid.
