Job Summary:

SKF Aerospace is a first-tier supplier to the global aviation industry and much more. We design & manufacture complex, high-performance, high-value bearings in steel and advanced ceramics. Our production group, technologies, & products are at the heart of the aerospace industry and the world’s leading aircraft jet engine & gearbox manufacturers at our Falconer, NY location.

Key Responsibilities:

The analysis includes, but is not limited to:

Cleanliness rating, carbide rating, grain size rating, retained austenite measurement, residual stress measurement, hardness measurement, and macro and micro etch.
Computer programming as it pertains to lab efficiency improvements, skills in MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and Visual Basic.
Maintaining lab cleanliness, reordering supplies, and maintaining lab samples and lab records.

Job Requirements:

The position requires a minimum of an Associate Degree or equivalent experience in a technical field. Courses in chemistry, metallurgy, and Heat Treatment are preferred.
Two to three (3) years of experience in engineering or a manufacturing environment.
Must have the ability to work as part of a team.
