Lafrance Hospitality is seeking an experienced Banquet Chef to join our culinary team. As a Banquet Chef, you will play a crucial role in the planning and execution of all banquet events, ensuring that every dish meets our high standards of quality and presentation.
Your responsibilities will include meal preparation, and overseeing kitchen staff during banquet service. You will work closely with event coordinators to create memorable dining experiences for our guests.
This position requires strong leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional food quality in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee food preparation and cooking processes during events.
- Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
- Manage kitchen staff and provide training and mentorship.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- 3+ years of culinary experience, preferably in a banquet or catering environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations.
- Creativity and passion for culinary arts.
Starting pay dependent on experience.
