Purchased Services Clerk $21.75/hour

Position Summary: 

This position is responsible for assignment of vendor services, identifying vendor availability needs, conducting vendor surveys, and assisting with quality projects.

Principal Accountabilities: 

Initiates service provision from vendors:

  • Evaluates service referral forms to ensure pertinent information is appropriate/included. 
  • Creates and monitors pending service reports to share with providers. 
  • Works closely with providers to arranges services for consumers.

Assists with ensuring vendors are meeting agency needs:

  • Monitors vendor availability, responsiveness, and population capacity.
  • Reports issues with availability, responsiveness, and cultural capacity.
  • Communicates and coordinates with the Quality Director on consumer concerns. 
  • Identifies case management/provider demands and works with both parties to problem solve.

Performs initiatives for quality control:

  • Coordinates mailing of consumer satisfaction surveys. 
  • Inputs the survey information and data into Survey Monkey as well EOEA website for data collection. 
  • Outreaches to new consumers to complete quality calls.

Assists with quality improvement projects:

  • Perform clerical tasks such as emailing, faxing, mailing to assist the Quality Director with projects
  • Run and develop reports to assist identify statistics/trends for the quality department.

Qualifications: 

Education: High school diploma or equivalent. 

Experience: One to two years of clerical experience preferred. 

Special Skills/Knowledge: 

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, 
  • computer skills including basic Microsoft Word and Excel understanding, 
  • attention to detail, accuracy, 
  • ability to work independently and to prioritize, 
  • ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, high volume environment, 
  • proven organizational and time management skills, 
  • good oral communication skills. 
  • Valid Driver’s license required. 
  • Reliable transportation required.
